From the history of environmental impact assessment procedure to methodology of oil and gas production impact on marine Arctic ecosystems

The paper considers peculiarities and principles of methodology of impact assessment on the environment in Russia and abroad. The comparative analysis of the world experience and the Russian system of ecological estimate of economical activity impact has been made. The paper has proved urgency and necessity of working out of methodology of impact assessment of the Barents oil and gas complex on marine Arctic ecosystems.
