High-quality setting material as a basis of biosafety of salmon commercial farms
The studies of juvenile Salmo salar L. grown in 2 Norwegian hatcheries have been carried out. The formation of the qualitative indicators of juveniles depending on conditions at certain stages of hatcheries growth to the stage of smolts has been investigated. The best ways to express control readiness for planting to the stage of growth in sea water for biosafety at the initial stage of fish production have been proposed. It has been shown that the development and implementation of a number of activities will improve the quality of products grown, solve problems of the health of cultured aquatic biodiversity, and protect the wild populations.
