Development of a special purpose LED ultraviolet lamp in a T8 flask
Fluorescent tubular ultraviolet lamps are used in medicine, industry, cosmetology, forensic science, and banking. During the development of the LED ultraviolet lamp in a T8 flask, a comparison of its lighting characteristics (power, energy flux, spectral distribution of radiation) with the parameters of special-purpose fluorescent lamps produced at industrial enterprises has been carried out. The design of the LED lamp includes a glass uviole tube with a diameter of 26 mm and a length of 322 mm (wall thickness is 1 mm, glass grade – SL97-3). For precise installation of the lamp in the irradiation facility and supplying electric power to it, plastic caps of the G13 pin type (the distance between the electrical contacts is 12.7 mm) are used. Measurements of electrical parameters, energy flux and spectral distribution of radiation have been carried out at nominal mains voltage on a Gooch &Housegophotocolorimetric measuring device. The developed LED lamp consumes seven times less electricity, has significantly longer (five times) expected service life and is a safer source of ultraviolet radiation, since it does not contain harmful vapors of mercury and its compounds. The LED ultraviolet lamp in a T8 flask can be used instead of the manufactured LUFT-10 lamps for special purposes, namely, in irradiators for carrying out technological processes (photochemical reactions, drying, curing), for attracting and disinsecting insects in traps, in photocopiers.

Studying changes in the lighting characteristics of retrofit LED lamps during long-term testing
The paper analyzes the results of comparative studies of the lighting characteristics of retrofit LED lamps of the A60 form factor from various manufacturers: Uniel (Russia – China), JazzWay (Russia – China), Philips (Netherlands), Ecola (Russia), Wolta (Germany). During the test period of lamps up to 6,000 hours, the following lighting characteristics were measured: luminous flux, power consumption, pulsation coefficient. The lamps were tested for 6,000 hours of burning at mains voltage of 220 V. The lamps were turned off 4 times a day and turned on again no less than 15 minutes after being turned off. Measurements of the lighting characteristics of the lamps were carried out after 0, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 6,000 hours of burning. The position of the lamps during the tests is with the base up. The test results show that the measured value of the initial luminous flux of all retrofit LED lamps corresponds to the declared one; a high value of the lumen maintenance after 6,000 hours of burning among retrofit LED lamps has been shown by Uniel LED 10W 4000K (94.5 %), Philips Essential LED 9W 6500K (96.2 %), Wolta LX 12W 3000K (95.3 %), for lamps JazzWay PLED-SP 10W 5000K and Ecola Classic LED 10.2W 4000K lumen maintenance is less than 90 %. According to the test results, only for the Uniel LED 10W 4000K lamp, the measured values of lighting characteristics and pulsation coefficient, including after 6,000 hours of burning, correspond to the declared ones. With a low pulsation coefficient of 2.3 % for this lamp, the lumen maintenance after 6,000 hours is 94.5 %, which corresponds to lumen maintenance code 9 according to state standard (GOST IEC 62612-2019).

Study of the lighting characteristics of Uniel retrofit LED lamps
The paper considers the photometric characteristics of LED retrofit lamps produced by the Russian-Chinese company Uniel: Uniel LED-G45-6W/4000K, Uniel LED-A60-8W/6500K, and Uniel LED-A60-9W/4000K, designed to replace traditional incandescent bulbs. During the research, comprehensive measurements of photometric parameters (luminous flux, power consumption, color temperature, color rendering index, ripple factor, power factor) have been carried out and the luminous efficacy has been calculated. The results of the measurements have been presented in relation to the supply voltage. Based on the data obtained, an analysis is carried out of the compliance of the initial measured characteristics of the lamps with the values declared by the manufacturer. The analysis of the emission spectra leads to the conclusion that the Uniel LED-A60-8W/6500K lamps are equipped with white light-emitting diodes, the spectrum of which consists of a blue emission band from the semiconductor crystal with a maximum at ~450 nm and a phosphor band with a maximum at ~560 nm, which converts some of the blue emission from the crystal into long-wavelength spectrum. The emission spectra of the Uniel LED-G45-6W/4000K and Uniel LED-A60-9W/4000K lamps, in addition to the blue emission band from the semiconductor crystal with a maximum at ~450 nm, contain emissions from two phosphors, the bands of which have maxima at ~560 nm (green) and ~630 nm (red), which results in a lower color temperature of the LEDs. The paper also provides a detailed analysis of the light power distribution curves, thermal operating conditions, and structural features of the lamps. The research results lead to the conclusion that it is advisable to recommend Uniel LED-G45-6W/4000K and Uniel LED-A60-9W/4000K lamps for use as light sources to replace traditional incandescent lamps because their photometric characteristics comply with the declared parameters and permissible deviations specified in the regulatory standards.

Study of lighting characteristics of LED analogues of domestically produced linear fluorescent lamps
LED linear lamps are gaining popularity in various fields of application due to their advantages in energy efficiency, durability and lighting quality. The paper considers the designs of the tested LED lamps of domestic production by AVANLED company intended to replace fluorescent lamps T8 with a power of 18 W, and also studies their lighting characteristics. Structurally, the studied lamps are produced in two versions: with a transparent and frosted glass bulb. Analysis of the dependence of the electrical characteristics of the lamps on the network voltage (Uc) has proved that they are practically independent of changes in Uc within ± 15 %. The results of measurements of lighting characteristics have shown that most parameters correspond to the declared values: the error of color temperature does not exceed 5 %, the error of color rendering index is 0.1 %, and the pulsation index of luminous flux is within the declared 5 % and equals 0.1 %. The luminous flux at the nominal voltage of the network differs from the declared value of 1,000 lm, and the luminous flux of LED lamps with a transparent tube is less than with a matte one. The power of the lamps varies from 8 to 8.7 W, which does not correspond to the declared 9 W. The luminous efficiency of LED lamps with a color temperature of 6,500 K corresponds to the declared value. For LED lamps with a color temperature of 4,000 K (matte bulb), the luminous efficiency is 2.4 % higher than the declared value. The luminous efficiency of the remaining lamps is less than the declared value. Analysis of the spatial distribution of luminous intensity has shown that LED lamps with a frosted glass bulb are suitable for replacing fluorescent lamps in luminaires with mirror optics, and LED lamps with a transparent glass bulb are suitable for replacing fluorescent lamps in luminaires with a diffuser reducing the glare of LEDs.
