Mosses of the alpine zone in mountains of the Murmansk region

Mosses of the alpine zone ("mountain tundra belt") in mountains of the Murmansk region have been studied. A list of the mosses includes 299 species. All species have been found in other belts or in other parts of the region. The composition and ratio of ecological groups and geographic elements in the moss flora have been discussed.
