Economy of scientific and technological progress: Retrospective analysis

In the paper the world experience of state management of structural transformations has been considered. Necessity and the role of state in the transformation process have been validated. The author has shown some state management instruments used by advanced countries in the definite period of development.

Regional peculiarities of economic development of fishery in the Northern basin

The paper describes regional features of economic development of fishery in the Northern basin. They are as follows: the most productive areas of fishery are situated beyond the bounds of national jurisdiction and fishery noticeably depends on international legal conditions of access to the marine biological resources. The conclusion about taking these features into consideration has been taken; the development of commercial fishery requires geopolitical presence of Russia in Arctic.
