Development of regional and border cooperation as a part of foreign economic relations of Russia

In the paper the importance of regional and border forms of external economic cooperation in the geoeconomical aspect, and also regional policy and peculiarities of border cooperation development in Russia have been considered. The necessity of more active usage of the selective approach in the state regional policy has been substantiated. The practice of the realization and border cooperation development has been analyzed on the example of the Northern economic region.

The characteristics of the state regulative function in the conceptions of free-trade and protectionism

The paper has shown the grounds of the state regulation degree from the point of view of free-trade and protectionism, has considered the historic process of formation of free trade and protectionism in indissoluble combination. The characteristics of the foreign trade policy of Russia in XVIII and the beginning of the XX century have been given.

The development of globalization by liberalization of regional economic ties

The paper considers the processes of economic globalization with the help of development of regionalism in foreign economic ties. Positive and negative sides of this phenomenon have been analyzed.
