On some problems of teaching navigators
Abstract. The paper is dedicated to some actual problems of the educational process at MSTU. They are: Quality control of lectures and laboratories; poor class attendance; lack of academic practice; absence of the mutual instructors’ attendance at their classes; and absence of the permanent educational seminar for young lecturers. Besides, the author shares his experience in teaching Celestial Navigation in English, and in independent quality control of his own lectures on six selected aspects.
