Long-lived radionuclides and the problem of radioactive waste disposal in the Northern region of Russia
Abstract. The paper presents the analysis results of structure and radiation characteristics of radioactive waste in the Northern region of Russia. The influence of long-lived radionuclides in regional radioactive waste when choosing the type of facility for final isolation of waste from the biosphere has been determined on the basis of the analysis.
