Cluster approach to regional management of the Murmansk region

Abstract. The paper takes under consideration the cluster approach to the management in the Murmansk region. The author considers the most progressive types of clusters in the region. Also the author analyses some strengths and weaknesses of the economic and social development of the Murmansk region, identifies economic threats and ways to overcome them. The recommendations on public policies aimed at stimulating the creation of progressive clusters have been given.
