Optimization of transport routes of Northern regions of Russia
Abstract. The problems of improving and optimizing the transport system of the North of Russia have been considered. It has been proposed to reduce the path of goods delivery from Western Europe to Southeast Asia (and vice versa) using the White Sea-Baltic Canal and the Northern Sea Route. The comparative characteristics of maritime transport corridors in the world has been given.
