Fishery complex of modern Russia: Problems and perspectives of development

Abstract. In recent years, the state has taken drastic measures to develop the fishery industry which caused positive changes. The paper analyzes the current state of the fishery industry of the Russian Federation, points out key issues and trends of further development. The necessity to modernize the fishery industry, application of innovative technologies, as well as creating fishery clusters have been determined.
