Philosophy of history of N.Ya. Danilevsky and West-European philosophy of the XIX-XX centuries: Peculiarities of reception
Abstract. The paper presents the analysis of reception of Danilevsky' ideas, his doctrine of cultural-historical types by West-European thinkers of the XIX-XX centuries – Spengler, Toynbee, Jaspers and others. Presenting historical and philosophical analysis of concepts "civilization", "Eurocentrism", "cultural identity" the author reveals the contradictory assessments of the doctrine of cultural-historical types as well as the arguments of thinkers about the fate of the European civilization.
