Ontological essence of education in the context of hermeneutic interpretations
Abstract. The paper examines ontological bases of education interpreted in the phenomenological-hermeneutic tradition in philosophy. The meaning of education has been explored as phenomenon of lifeworld and method of relationship with tradition. The content of the concept of subject of education has been also analyzed.
