N. Grot about place and role of metaphysics in human cognitive activity
Abstract. The paper considers features of metaphysical period of philosophical views of N. Grot, Russian thinker of the second half of the XIX century. His ideas about the place and role of metaphysics in human cognitive activity have been analyzed. Factors influencing the formation of his ideas, their relationship with the general trend of development of philosophy in the XIX-XX centuries have been pointed out.
