Philosophy of history in Russian philosophical views of the X – early XX centuries

Abstract. The paper considers philosophy of history in its development in the context of national "foreheadwisdom". The author distinguishes and describes two major interrelated approaches: historical-philosophical and theoretic-methodological. The question of historical consciousness has been posed within the frames of the theoretic-methodological approach for the first time. Historiosophy in the process of evolution asserts gradually itself on principles of secularized consciousness, epistemology, meliorism and anthropologism.
