On origins of the principle of historicism in German classical philosophy (I.G. Gerder and his outlooks)
Abstract. In this paper the philosophy of history of I.G. Gerder has been considered as a starting point of theoretical substantiation of the principle of historicism which has received further development in German classical philosophy. Religious, philosophical, historical and cultural preconditions of formation of I.G. Gerder's outlook connected with his life in Riga have been analyzed. The conclusion has been drawn on concrete identity of logic and historical as content of the principle of historicism.
