Safety of port cranes' operation in gale-strength wind
Abstract. The characteristics of anemometers as wind instruments of port cranes protection in terms of their reliability, proper setup and calibration have been considered. The requirements for crane anemometers have been defined. The recommendations for installation of anemometers in the port have been given.
