Abstract. In this paper results of undismantled diagnostics application for determination of reducing gears of TKG2-03 type technical condition have been considered; typical defects have been observed; conclusion about reducing gears' reliability and efficiency of diagnostic methods' application for fishing fleet vessels have been made.
