Abstract. In an emergency situation when cargo compartment is sinking the coefficient of permeability of refrigerated cargo is changed. This leads to changing stability and ship landing which differs from the model cases (spoken about in Information on the captain). A new variant of calculation of vessel seaworthiness for the case when there are holes in the refrigerator hold and phase transition "cargo – pulp" has been proposed.
