Abstract. The paper presents the results of scientific research on influence of soil habitat attributes on formation of root tropism of arboreal plants. The dependence of arboreal plants root tropism process on the biochemical composition and structure of soil habitat has been established. Using the method of synthesis the authors have come to the conclusion about integrity of this process consisted in the unity and interrelation of all its parts.
