Abstract. The structure of causes of industrial injuries in the Russian Federation has been presented. The analysis of industrial injuries and occupational diseases in the Murmansk region during 2005-2009 has been given. The analysis of statistics of labor conditions in the Murmansk region (2009) from the gender and economic aspects have been considered. Some ways for reduction and accurate assessment of industrial injuries in the Murmansk region have been proposed.
