Abstract. The ecological-economical estimation of heavy metals' accumulation in sediments of the Lake Njudjavr for more than 70 years of activity of the mining enterprise ("Severonickel") has been carried out. The volumes and cost of the accumulated metals have been determined. The methods of lake treatment and extracting additional raw materials for metal manufacture have been recommended.
