Spectrophotometric research of acidic sulphite solutions
Abstract. Spectrophotometric studying of water acidic sulphite solutions has been executed. The character of absorption of ions HSO3-, S2O52-and SO2?H2O in the UV-range has been studied. Degree of the dimerization of hydrosulphite-ion depending on solution concentration has been established. The latter increases from 4.75 to 25.86 % with increase of S(IV) from 0.03 to 0.2 mol/l.
