Blood characteristics and histology of gonads of plant breeding and wild Salvelinus alpinus lepechini (G.)
Abstract. The morphological picture of blood, anatomic, cytologic and sexual condition at uneven-age fish-breeding and wild Salvelinus alpinus lepechini (G.) from the lakes Topozero and Gremyakha have been investigated. Reasons for differences in physiological parameters of plant and wild fish have been discussed. Some signs of oocytes' resorption in plant breeding females have been revealed. It has been established that protogyny is a natural phenomenon in natural local populations of Salvelinus alpinus lepechini (G.).
