On estimation of state of knowledge of the Barents and White Seas
Abstract. The present level of knowledge on the oceanological and ecosystem parameters of the Barents and White Seas has been characterized. The methodological approach to the estimation of state of knowledge on the oceanological and hydrobiological regime based on the statistical description of the investigated parameters has been proposed. Numerous gaps in the investigations on the different levels of ecosystem organization have been shown.
