Simulation of guided movement of vessel along the line of position
Abstract. The method of controlling movement of vessel performing mooring operation to another vessel has been proposed. It is based on determining the current values of deviations of the bow and stern points of the vessel from the desired path and on the subsequent formation of the control signal that is proportional to the deviation. The assessment of effectiveness of such management has been given. Software simulation of guided movement in accordance with the proposed method has been carried out.
