Competitiveness of economy of North: Role of institutional environment
Abstract. The paper justifies the statement that in the modern context (globalization and growing role of institutions) competitiveness of economy of North might increase. Using data the author has proved that the quality of institutional environment of the regions bordering with highly developed EU economies does improve and has a positive impact on their competitiveness.
