Abstract. The various approaches to the definition of globalization and its impact on national and global economy have been analyzed; some views of national and international scientists concerning interpretation of the concept of financial stability of banks have been considered. The paper contains the author's view on the impact of global processes on the financial stability of banks and how to minimize risks of globalization for the national banking system.
