Dialectic of the correspondence principle and mathematical apparatus of the special theory of relativity

Abstract. The paper considers some aspects of the principle of correspondence in the special theory of relativity. This principle is one of the most important principles of physics and determines the nature of change of physical theories. The origin and development of the principle, the limits of its application have been discussed in the paper.
