World of animals in mythological consciousness of people in Tropical and South Africa
Abstract. The paper contains the analysis of the animal world in mythological consciousness of people of Tropical and South Africa. The views of individual African people of the place and role of animals in everyday life, spiritual and religious life have been described. Three categories of animals ("normal", sacred and "unclean") have been considered in the work.
