Seismic monitoring and preliminary estimation of seismicity of the Verkhne-Tuloma Hydroelectric Plant district
Abstract. The paper has considered the preliminary results of the researches of seismic activity of the Verkhne-Tuloma hydroelectric plant district characterised by a composite geological structure with a net of repeatedly activized faults of different age, that means the possibility of heightened seismicity. Some historical information about the seismic activity of the district have proved this fact. Besides, in the work some methodical aspects of seismological researches of seismomonitoring peculiarities under the conditions of the global technological anthropological influence on the surface of the Earth crust have been presented. In the last section the modern system of the seismoactivity monitoring of the Kola Peninsula has been analysed.
