Efficiency of procedures protecting vessel safety
Abstract. Main types of threats of vessel safety have been considered: mistakes of ship experts, refusals of critical elements, failures of software of ship technical means. Some organizational means on minimization of consequences of these threats have been described. The assessment of reliability of vessel safety protection as probabilistic characteristics of a dangerous event has been proposed.
