Mosses of town of Polyarnye Zori (the Murmansk region)
Abstract. The list of mosses of town of Polyarnye Zori has been compiled for the first time. It includes 105 species; data on frequency of occurrence, presence of sporophytes or gemmae, zones, habitats and substrates have been provided. Peculiarities of Polyarnye Zori flora in comparison with explored urban floras of the region and diversity for each city zone have been discussed. Some rare in the Murmansk region mosses: Aongstroemia longipes (Sommerf.) Bruch et al., Barbula unguiculata Hedw., Bryum cyclophyllum (Schw?gr.) Bruch et al., Buxbaumia aphylla Hedw., Dicranella rufescens (Dicks.) Schimp., Ditrichum cylindricum (Hedw.) Grout, Mnium hornum Hedw., Serpoleskea subtilis (Hedw.) Loeske and Warnstorfia pseudostraminea (M?ll.Hal.) Tuom. & T.J.Kop. have been found in Polyarnye Zori.
