Analysis of motor activity and thermal tolerance of the Barents Sea sculpin Myoxocephalus scorpius (L.)

Abstract. The paper considers changes in motor activity of the Barents Sea sculpin Myoxocephalus scorpius (L.) being a promising fishing object. The motor activity has been determined in laboratory conditions, under continuous recording. The influence of abrupt temperature variations on the sculpin biorhythms has been analysed. The effect of magnetic disturbance on biorhythms has been estimated.
