Historical aspects of development of the innovation process conception

Abstract. The paper presents the review of historical achievements of the economical ideas in the field of innovation process and scientific and technical progress. The special attention has been paid to the problems of historical development and perfection of two leading directions: descriptive - working out the theory of innovation process, and economical and analytical - considering practical use of innovation process models and scientific and technical progress on the basis of the production factors.
