Transformation and transfer of the substance in the Earth crust shear zones: application of the conception to ground the genesis of the banded iron formation of the Kola Peninsula
Abstract. The main idea of the paper is the detecting of the solid metamorphic differentiation in the shear zones on the basis of the physical mezomechanics conception (V.E. Panin). The concept has been used to base the original hypothesis of the banded iron formation of the Kola Peninsula; its genesis is interpreted as a result of in situ metamorphic-metasomatic protolith differentiation of primary highly ferruginous basic volcanites under the subordinate significance of the substance gain-loss on the scale of the ore-bearing Kola group as a whole.
