Study of the Precambrian: Methodology, Principles and Results
Abstract. The paper analyses the dependence of methodology, principles and results of study of Precambrian formations on the changing views of researchers on the similarity and difference of the Precambrian and Phanerosoic. A necessity of a systematic approach to solve these problems is substantiated. This approach allows one to gain insight into the causations and consequences of such processes as formation and transformation of rocks and ores, as well as the resulting geological bodies and tectonic structures. No matter what their age is, or what is inferred about their origin.
