Religious and philosophical ideas in the age of Russian Enlightenment
Abstract. The paper considers philosophical origins and historical and cultural prerequisites of formation of the religious and philosophical ideas of the Russian Enlightenment. The author has underlined that the development of these ideas had been caused by connection of the philosophical ideas and political, social and cultural processes. The educational activity of the Russian clergy has been evidence of ecclesiastical and religious tendency in the Russian Enlightenment.
