Abstract. The paper analyses problems of counteraction to the legal nihilism phenomenon in the modern Russian society. The phenomenon has been considered as one of the main obstacles for building a state governed by law. The authors have analyzed the essence of the legal nihilism, its destructive role, causes, forms of elimination.
