Mathematical models of the vessel in-plane parallel movement. Classification and review
Abstract. Existing mathematical models and approaches for mathematical modeling of vessel’s movement developed by different authors have been reviewed in the paper. Advantages and disadvantages of these models, limitations of their field of application have been discussed, their suitability for implementation in navigational simulators and in systems of forecasting of vessel’s movement has been assessed, possible ways of purposeful modification of these mathematical models have been marked.
