On identification of some vessel maneuvering characteristics according to the results of environmental tests
Abstract. There are two ways to identify the number of maneuvering characteristics of the vessel's circulation (radius, rate of turn) as a result of environmental tests using the least-squares method. One of them belongs to processing of the results obtained on still water, the second – to tests at windy conditions. The last is especially important, as it is impossible to have any environmental tests at ideally calm weather.
