On a method of producing vermiculite with decreased temperature of expansion
Abstract. The possibility of producing vermiculite with an expanding coefficient 3 by treating it with NH4NO3 solution at roasting temperature of 300В°C has been shown. The dependences of the modified vermiculite expansion degree on salt concentration and time of solution saturation at a fixed roasting temperature have been found.
