Comparison of physical and mechanical properties of the Kola Superdeep Borehole core samples and their surface analogues
Abstract. Analysis of data on density and elastic-anisotropic properties of the Kola Superdeep Borehole (SG-3) core and its rock analogues from the surface has shown some difference in distribution of samples by elastic-anisotropic properties. Distribution by the index of elastic anisotropy for the SG-3 core is approximated by a curve, which has the shape of a damping wave. This is evidence of a wave component presence in geodynamic conditions of the lithosphere determined as a "factor of depth".
