On man-caused magnetization of rocks in the SG-3 geo-space
Abstract. Petrophysical properties have been determined on the samples from the research borehole section (2516 m maximum depth) drilled near the Outokumpu polymetallic deposit (Finland). The acoustopolarization method was used for this purpose. It has been established that the section is composed of medium and strongly anisotropic rocks displaying a linear anisotropic absorption effect. In the middle part of the section one can observe sharp variations in palaeoforces direction, that are likely to be related to shift of individual rock plates in the process of palaeogeodynamics.
