On the problem of estrangement in Russian existential philosophy (N. Berdyaev, L. Shestov)
Abstract. The paper is devoted to the evaluation of the role and place of Miguel Servet antitrinitatism and his influence on Spanish culture. The development of culture and science in Spain in the XV-XVIIth centuries has been briefly described. Miguel Servet, the most famous Spanish philosopher-antitrinitarist, tried to interpret Christianity and to create a philosophical theological doctrine. Servet examined the concept of God not only to verify the theory of antitrinitarism, but to disprove the fundamental Church dogmata. Although being dependent on traditions of Christian philosophy, he rejected canonical approaches and declared the new way of philosophy evolution.
