Abstract. The dispute about the scientific character of philosophy is endless. The author considers it more important to describe problematic semantic space of philosophy. Each philosophical conception expands the general idea about world, hence it is difficult to give the only appropriate definition of philosophy, it will always be temporary and restricted. It should be better to speak on variability of the object of philosophy in the frameworks of unified problematic.
