On interpretation of totalitarianism by thinkers of the Russian emigres
Abstract. The paper analyses the philosophical concept of the Other from the position of overcoming the cultural distinctions of modern society. The author considers the idea of the Other in the philosophy of M. Buber, E. Gusserl, E. Levinas, G. Marsel, J.-P. Sartr and shows how the multiculturalism theory and practice can help to solve the problem of cultural confrontation in the society.
