Multilevel morphophysiological investigations of the brown algae (the Kola Bay, Barents Sea)
Abstract. Researches of the lake Umbozero have been carried out with the purpose of assessment of biogeochemical features of the chalcophile elements distribution in water and sediments and assessment of geoecological state of the lake. In distribution of Pb and Cd contents in the water column the superficial and near-bottom maximum has been found out. The average concentrations of Pb and Cd in the water column of the lake Umbozero were more than the average value for water of the taiga zone lakes. Pollution of the lake Umbozero led to increase of concentration in superficial layers of sediments of all investigated chalcophile elements.
