Abstract. The research of isolation of ship electrical machines while in operation and ship repair has been carried out. The stability of isolation resistance of powerful electrical machines is closely connected to varnish properties and methods of varnish drying during manufacturing the engine in periods of operation and repair at specialized enterprises.
