Methods of economic estimation of oil and gas resources of Russian continental shelf
Abstract. The transition to the market economics requires taking into account new economic factors of development of the oil and gas resources of the continental shelf: the occurrence of the market mechanisms of economic regulation, a new role of the state and participating of Russian and foreign private investors in development of the oil and gas sea deposits. The economic situation essentially influences the principles and methodology of the economic estimation of resources. There is a necessity of development of new approaches to the economic estimation of these resources. The practical realization of these approaches can form the basis for the choice of objects and directions of works at early stages of the oil and gas resources exploitation.
